According to http://www.jimseven.com/2006/07/31/5-reasons-your-coffee-tastes-bad/ one of the 4 reasons why a coffee tastes bad and for the similar reason the coffee at Koffee with Karan tastes bad:
1. The machine is bad: The tactic used to get higher TRP is quite cheap especially the Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor's episode. Instigating them to bitch about their ex is quite classless. 2. The coffee is stale: Most of the discussions are very mundane and have been spoken and covered by most of the media and unfortunately for the host, his connection and his ""good" friend don't help the TRP by making any sensational confessions. Neither did Priyanka and Sasha confessed their relationship nor did Rani confess her relationship with Adi
3. Poor Quality: No doubt the content and even the usual fun segments like "rapid fire" has water all over it.
4. People don't taste their own coffee: Somehow, this season doesn't seem to have the touch of Karan. Last two season had the warm touch of Johar and it felt like it gave us a glimpse of Karan's living room. This season he has brought his couch on the road and he wants all his guests to wash their dirty lingerie in Public!
Good good.I have been watching KwK for the last few years regularly and I feel the same way. I hope Karan reads this and changes the whole format of the show instead of just yapping away as always with mundane topics. Maybe a bit of controversial discussions would be an interesting feature.
